-===== Introduction =====
-
-<fs 1.1em>I joined [[http://www.mju.ac.kr|Myongji University]] in March 2011. Before then, I was a research scientist at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Giheung, Korea. From Nov. 2007 to Feb. 2010, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the [[http://www.ists.dartmouth.edu|Institute for Security, Technology, and Seciety (ISTS)]] at [[http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu|Dartmouth College]]. During that time, I worked with [[http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~dfk|Prof. David Kotz]] for the [[http://metrosense.cs.dartmouth.edu|MetroSense project]] and TISH (Trustworthy Information Systems for Healthcare) project. For my doctoral thesis, I developed a peer-to-peer lookup scheme specially tuned for multi-hop wireless networks, under supervision of [[http://www.cs.umd.edu/~waa|Prof. William A. -===== Research Interest =====
-
-<fs 1.1em>I direct the [[http://hmcl.mju.ac.kr|Human-based Mobile Computing Laboratory (HMCL)]], which works on designing the architectures and security/privacy mechanisms of mobile systems that provide services to mobile users based on their situation inferred by sensor data. Specifically, I am interested in the following research questions:</fs>
-  * What can a personal mobile devices (e.g., Smartphones or Tablets) learn about the user's syntactic and semantic situations?
-  * How can we leverage the sensor-rich personal devices to build a large-scale people-centric sensing systems?
-  * What are the challenges in providing situation-aware mobile services and people-centric sensing systems?
-  * What is the privacy and security risk of the user when his or her mobile device is actively participating situation-based services?
-
